I like Quicktime. Convert your video to Quicktime if it's not already. Since you've already rendered it into a movie/video go ahead and purchase Quicktime Pro (about $49.95 one time fee) and export your video files using different compressions, etc. Or another Conversion Software that is free is "MPEG Streamclip." Do a Google search for the website. Your file is very large (700MB) for a 17 minute video. You can export it into MP4 (mpeg4) format. YouTube accepts that universal file extension for the web. However, with the mp4 video format, use the H.264 compression (codec) and there are a few other things you need to set, like the bitrate, streaming or downloading, other video settings, audio settings (to decrease your file size even more you can change your stereo audio to "mono" among other things. After you upload your video to video sites on the web they process by compressing it even more into FLV format (flash video) and depending on their compression level, that beautiful video you uploaded can look like "crap" once they show it on the web. I'm putting together some screencast videos to teach people things like this, very soon. You might be able to find some info on what to do by searching the web.
This is a truly odd animal video! Not only is it in Japanese (which is odd if you’re an American who doesn’t understand Japanese, like me) but it shows an owl exhibiting some fascinating behavior. Check it out and be sure to watch the whole thing so see the strangest stuff. There is and explanations in article.
You can find a good Nikon or Canon 35 mm SLR for under $150 on craigslist. One of these cameras will be the tool you will need to learn and understand photography … it and a class in photography.
Craigslist is cool because you can hold the camera in your hand before you hand over your cash.

Given how violent the current storms are, I wouldn't necessarily say it's a sixth sense – their hearing is approximately 20 times more sensitive than ours. That's a lot of hearing to have for all that thunder! They can also hear distant thunder even before the storm arrives.
Animals sense the change in barometric pressure, so they can also feel the change in their bodies – many humans can as well, but a lot of people just don't know to pay attention to it, or don't understand why their mood changes all of a sudden when a front comes through.
The key word in your question is puppy –
You have the opportunity right now to teach your puppy that thunder storms are loud, but they don't need to be scared.
Don't comfort him if he is whining, or say "that's OK" -you don't want to agree with him that there is anything to be afraid of.
Instead, put him on a little leash, and practice his sits and down, giving him a piece of kibble every time. Act as if you have work to do (with him), and not as if there is anything terrorizing going on. If you are not worried, but are in charge, he should not be worried either. Those are the pack rules. Make sure he looks you in the eye, and you look at him and say he's a good boy. Confidently.
You can take him for a little walk around the house, on his leash, anything so he is paying attention to you, but not hiding.
You could even feed him his dinner, one kibble at a time.
If you need to be away when you know there will be storms, you can put him in a small central room in the house, close the shades or door, and turn on a radio or TV kind of loud. this will drown out much of the sound, and help him cope. Make sure he has a chew bone of some sort in there with him.
