Catfish help please. Is it ok to have 30 baby fish in a 10gallon tank?
I have about 30 baby catfish in a tank at my house will they live? What do i need to feed them?
How should i set up the tank? Right now i only have water in the tank and ive been feedin them shrimp and tuna fish out the can. Is that ok what do i need. Like what type rocks, any type of other stuff too. Thanks in advance

Do you know what kind of catfish these are? Are they from other catfish that spawned in your tank, or something you found in a lake/river. We can’t tell you how to take care of them if we don’t know what they are. If you can provide any of this information, you can add it to this question by using the pencil icon under your question to “add details”. I’ll check back in a bit.
ADDITION: Since you don’t know the kind, It’s hard to say what you should feed them I can post a few links and you can see if any of the photos look like the fish you have.
As far as tank set-up, most cats are nocturnal, so lots of rock (use stuff meant for fish tanks – other rock you find may change the pH and the babies may not survive.) and driftwood for hiding, and no bright lights.
Are the fish eating the fish and shrimp? If not try giving them a cooked pea with the skin removed. Some catfish are more interested in eating algae than meat. I’d also be careful using tuna since it has a higher oil content
And 30 is too many fish for a 10 gallon tank. If you didn’t have the tank set up prior to getting the fish, you’ll be having problems with ammonia in the tank.
