when baby carrying, what sort of bag do you use?
and do you have different bags for different carrying positions etc. ?
i’m talking about being able to at least carry one nappy, jar of food, bib, muslin, slim pack of wipes, bottle and powder.
sorry i should have made myself clearer. i mean when you’re carrying your baby in a sling or baby bjorn or whatever.
I will be getting a backpack type thing for my next baby. I had a super cute diaper bag with one strap and I HATED it. It wouldnt stay on my shoulder when i would carry my son and then it would through off my balance let alone shift where all the weight of the bag and my son were. Get something that will stay on your back or shoulder. Thats my advice

I'm 22 weeks and I just started shopping last week. While this is my 4th child, I am starting over. I was done having children after my last one who is now 6 1/2. I got rid of her baby stuff years ago! I am not going overboard on clothes because like you said, they grow quickly the first year.
I do find cute stuff from summer on clearance racks. I buy them in bigger sizes and get them dirt cheap for next summer. I try and split things between 0-3 months and 3-6 months. If I think I can roll up the legs or sleeves for a few weeks, I buy it a little bigger.
I figure all I really NEED is a crib, swing, clothes, bathtub, diapers, and bottles. Keep in mind you will receive gifts!

You can't!!!!! My 4 month old HATED nappy change and i tried loads of things like singing and being all happy to distract him etc, but in the end had to resort to the fact that he hated it and nothing i would do could help. My mum would always know when he was getting a nappy change as peace would suddenly be shattered when i started! He now gets used to it and even if he starts a little bit its much easier to distract him with a funny face or a toy etc. Just bear with it a newborn has to get used to everything, they have had months inside you with no hands poking them and prodding them and they have to get used to the things that are new to them. Also being breastfed he will have many nappies to change with all that poop he'll have plenty more time to get used to it!
Nothing is really going to turn this white white. Bleached muslin is bleached cotton BEFORE being spun into thread…Unbleached muslin is made of unbleached cotton, is more coarse….If you bleached muslin enough to turn it white, it would be all but falling apart.

You can put it back in the nest if you are worried. Sometimes they will wander but usually end up back together on their own. It is 100% OK for you to handle the kits.
